Update From The TV Answer Man: Ads, Subs, Peacock NFL Game

By Phillip Swann
The TV Answer Man – Buy Me a Coffee!

Good morning, everyone! And Happy Holidays!

I want to share three quick updates:

* You may notice fewer ads on the site starting today.
I have reduced the number of ads at TVAnswerman.com by popular demand. Yes, there are still ads but fewer pop-ups and other highly intrusive placements. This is in response to your feedback which I always greatly appreciate.

* You can receive our articles ad-free by getting a paid subscription.
As you may know, you can read each TV Answer Man article with no ads by subscribing monthly or annually at our Buy Me a Coffee site here. Once subscribed, you will get an e-mail of each published article that will not include any advertising. And I am working on providing more benefits to paid subscribers so sign up today! Click the ‘Make It Monthly’ box when contributing or the ‘Join’ button for an annual subscription. Buy Me a Coffee!

* Peacock Is No Longer Available As a Free Trial
Regular readers may recall that I reported a week ago that Amazon was offering a week-long free trial to Peacock which would enable football fans to watch Saturday’s exclusive Peacock stream of the Ravens-Packers game for free. Well, alas, Amazon removed the free trial yesterday, one day before the seven days leading up to the game. This was obviously done to force more subscriptions; Peacock doesn’t offer a free trial anywhere else including its web site. Sorry for that; but wanted you to get that update in case you were making plans.

Happy Viewing and Happy Holidays!
