How to Get Free Hulu From Spectrum TV

Charter’s Spectrum TV and Disney today announced an expanded carriage agreement that will allow all Spectrum Select video subscribers to receive the ads-included Hulu streaming service for free later this summer.
The Hulu with ads plan normally costs $9.99 a month. Charter and Disney today did not reveal a specific launch date for its free availability on Spectrum’s Select plan.
In addition to Hulu coming for free to Spectrum Select, Charter and Disney today said eight Disney-owned linear networks will return to Spectrum’s channel lineup: Disney Jr, Disney XD, Freeform, FXX, FXM, Nat Geo Wild, Nat Geo Mundo and BabyTV.
The channels were removed when Charter and Disney signed a new carriage agreement in September 2023.
“We began this journey to transform the video proposition for consumers with Disney, so it is befitting that this new agreement and the doubling down on our strategy continues with them,” Tom Montemagno, executive vice president for programming acquisition for Charter, said in a statement. Executive Vice President, “This extension is a true testament to our mutual confidence in this innovative model – which already is showing improvement in subscriber churn – and our commitment to work creatively together to achieve win-win outcomes for both of us and most importantly for our customers – all achieved mid-cycle and absent from any of the typical pressures from expiring agreements.”
“With the addition of Hulu and the return of our full portfolio of channels, we’re pleased to expand and extend our agreement with Charter – delivering the most robust and valuable combination of linear and streaming entertainment for years to come,” added Sean Breen, executive vice president for Disney Platform Distribution.
How to Get Free Hulu From Spectrum
To watch Hulu via Spectrum when it’s added, you will need use the Xumo Stream Box or another Hulu supported device and download the Hulu app from the app store. Then, you input your Spectrum TV user name and password.
