Herbert, Charter’s Spectrum TV and NBCUniversal announced this week that all Spectrum subscribers to the cable operator’s Select video plan will now receive the ads-included Peacock streaming service for free.

How to Watch Peacock For Free
The plan, which is called Peacock Premium, normally costs $7.99 a month. To watch Peacock via Spectrum, you will need use the Xumo Stream Box or another Peacock-supported device and download the Peacock app from the app store. Then, you input your Spectrum TV user name and password.

What If You Already Subscribe to Peacock?
Spectrum says that if you have an existing Peacock subscription through a third party, such as Roku or Apple TV, you will need to cancel it before activating your Peacock service via the cable service. If you do that, you will be able to activate your Peacock sub through Spectrum TV once the third party sub expires. For more details on how to cancel Peacock, click here.
