Updated: Deal Alert: How You Can Watch Ravens vs. Packers For Free

Football fans, set your calendar to December 21. Because that’s when you might be able to get a seven-day free trial to Peacock’s $16.99 a month Premium Plus plan which would enable you to watch the streamer’s exclusive December 27 broadcast of the Baltimore Ravens-Green Bay Packers game without paying a dime.

Now, I say ‘might’ because the seven-day free trial is now available on Amazon’s Prime Video. Between now and game week, it’s conceivable that NBC, Peacock’s owner, might force Amazon to drop the free trial so people will have to subscribe to the streaming service to watch the game.

Update: On Saturday, December 20, Amazon removed the seven-day free trial, obviously because of the upcoming exclusive NFL game. There are now no free trials available.

(Peacock has the game exclusively, meaning it will not be available on any other channel or service including NBC or the NFL Plus streaming service. It will be available on local network affiliates in the teams’ two markets.)

The streamer does not offer a free trial at its web site, or anywhere else, for a reason (subscriptions!) so it shouldn’t be a shock if Amazon pulls it right before the game.

But if December 21 comes around and the free trial is still available, snatch it. The seven days would take you through game day. You could then cancel the subscription immediately after the game.

I will post a reminder on December 21 if the free trial is still available.

Happy viewing, everyone!
