DIRECTV has added the 50 Cent Action movie channel to its MyFree DIRECTV ad-supported lineup which now has more than 100 free channels.
The channel, which bills itself as the destination for fast-paced thrillers hand-picked by rapper Curtis Jackson, better known as 50 Cent, includes such movies as Rambo starring Sylvester Stallone, The Spy Who Dumped Me, Conan the Barbarian, the first two John Wick films, and Killing Them Softly. 50 Cent Action is produced by the Lionsgate studio.
What Is MyFree DIRECTV?
MyFree DIRECTV, which started with 70 channels in November 2024, now has more than 100 channels and is expected to add more channels in the coming weeks and months. DIRECTV is hoping that MyFree DIRECTV will generate additional advertising revenue as well as attract potential customers who might subscribe after coming to its site/app.
Who Can Watch DIRECTV’s Free Service?
MyFree DIRECTV is available to both DIRECTV subscribers and non-DIRECTV consumers and includes both live channels and on-demand programming. You can watch the free channels by creating a DIRECTV account at DIRECTV.com and then going to the DIRECTV Stream app or this web page.
What Free Channels Are Missing From MyFree DIRECTV?
While MyFree DIRECTV’s lineup still trails other free services such as Sling TV’s Freestream, Pluto TV and Xumo Play, which offer hundreds of free channels, the TV provider is likely to slowly build the numbers during the year as it generates more viewership. There are several high-profile freebies that have yet to be added to MyFree DIRECTV, such as the NFL Channel and the MLB Channel.
