Can You Record Amazon’s NASCAR Races?

The TV Answer Man – Follow me on X.

TV Answer Man, thanks for your coverage of Amazon’s streaming of the NASCAR races this year. I don’t think anyone else is writing about this. My question for you is do you know if you can record the races and watch them later? – Kit, Nashville.

Kit, Amazon’s Prime Video this year will be the exclusive carrier of five NASCAR races from May 25 to June 22, 2025. The races will be streamed in 1080p HD HDR (High Dynamic Range) which should offer a vivid and detailed picture of the action.

To your question, Amazon will post a recorded replay of each race shortly after it ends. So you don’t need to set it to record; Amazon does it for you. Also, according to the Amazon NASCAR web page, you will have the ability to rewind, pause and fast forward all five races while they are in progress. From the Amazon FAQ page:

“Yes, you have the ability to rewind, pause, and fast forward all NASCAR races. You also have access to the full replay and the ability to watch from the beginning if joining late.”

See this Amazon page for more tips.

If you don’t have the details on the upcoming NASCAR races on Amazon, here’s the schedule:
