Peacock to Exclusively Carry WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event

Peacock may have lost the WWE Premier Events to ESPN, but the streamer just announced a new multi-year agreement to exclusively carry the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event series live.

ESPN announced yesterday that its deal to carry the WWE PLE will begin early with a September 20 Wrestlepalooza live from the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

Peacock said its Saturday Night’s Main Event series will stream exclusively four times a year in primetime with the first event on November 1. On December 13, the streamer’s show will feature John Cena’s retirement match.

In addition, Peacock said, the WWE Network library will remain available in its on-demand lineup through the end of 2025. NXT Premium Live Events on demand will be available on Peacock until March 2026.

The new agreement will also allow NBC’s USA Network to continue to be the exclusive live home of SmackDown on Friday nights.

“We’re excited to bring Saturday Night’s Main Event exclusively to Peacock beginning this fall,” said WWE chief content officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque. “NBCU have been terrific longtime partners, and we look forward to continuing to work with them for years to come.”

“Peacock has had a wonderful relationship with the WWE and we’re excited to see it continue far into the future,” added Rick Cordella, president of NBC Sports. “Saturday Night’s Main Event is some of the most premium content the WWE produces, including John Cena’s upcoming retirement match, and it will be all live and exclusive on Peacock.”
