Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Disney, Peacock Add 9 New Releases Today: The 3 to Watch

Netflix, Hulu, Peacock, Disney Plus and Amazon Prime today (January 19, 2026) will add nine new shows to their streaming lineups. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion. (All Times Eastern).

Monday Night Raw: 2026

What Kind of Show: Athletic Entertainment
Who’s In It: CM Punk, Finn Balor
Netflix this month celebrates its first year anniversary of exclusively streaming the weekly WWE ‘wrasslin’ matches with a new episode Monday: CM Punk will defend his heavyweight title against Finn Balor. Plus, Becky Lynch will defend her women’s intercontinental title against Maxxine Dupri. The outcomes may be more certain than Netflix’s Skyscraper Live but the activity not any less adventurous. (Note that Monday Night Raw begins at 3 p.m. ET today.)

Hoops, Hopes & Dreams
Where to Watch: Hulu
What Kind of Show: Sports, History, Documentary
Who’s In It: Martin Luther King, Jr, President Barack Obama
In celebration of the Martin Luther King holiday today, Hulu presents this 20-minute documentary on how the 1960s Civil Rights leader played city basketball to attract young African-American males to his movement. King’s strategy, which was later adopted by Barack Obama in his presidential run decades later, has been largely unreported until now.

Where to Watch: Peacock
What Kind of Show: Basketball Live
Fresh from streaming last night’s Bears-Rams playoff game, Peacock dives in today with not one, not two, not three, but FOUR NBA games! The best of the bunch, in my humble opinion, is the Cavs-Thunder game at 2:30 p.m.; great opportunity to watch the Thunder, which has the best record in the league. But the Celtics-Pistons matchup is another winner at 8 p.m.; they have the best two records in the Eastern Conference. If you love basketball, and have the day off, this one is for you.
