Amazon’s Prime Video this week (January 11-17, 2026) plans to add four new shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here’s the one to watch, in my humble opinion:

The Night Manager (Season Two)
When to Watch: Sunday, January 11
Who’s In It: Tom Hiddleston, Diego Calva

In season one, Tom Hiddleston stars as a former British intelligence officer working as a hotel night manager who’s recruited to help bring down a dangerous international arms dealer (Hugh Laurie from House). The six-episode series was a taut thriller with riveting performances from Hiddleston, Laurie and Elizabeth Debicki as the femme fatale caught between the two men. In season two, Hiddleston is living in hiding under an assumed name but soon must return to action when he spots another dangerous arms dealer (Diego Calva from Babylon) up to no good.

Basketball fans, note that Amazon will stream a NBA triple header on Martin Luther King, Jr. day on Thursday.
