TV Answer Man, do you know if Fubo’s new sports plan has regional sports networks? – Gene, Pittsburgh.
Gene, Fubo today is scheduled to launch a new sports-specific package for $55.99 a month. (At first, it will only be available in select markets; we expect to get a list of those markets later today. The plan will be $10 off the first month.)
The plan, called Fubo Sports, will have more than 20 channels including the following:
ACC Network
Big 10 Network
CBS Sports Network
ESPN
ESPN2
ESPNews
ESPNU
FOX News
FOX Sports 1
FOX Sports 2
Fubo Sports Network
ION
NFL Network
SEC Network
Tennis Channel
As you can see, there are some notable omissions such as TBS and TNT, which Fubo’s base plans do not include, as well as the MLB Network. However, there is free access to the new ESPN Unlimited app and local network affiliates for ABC, Fox and CBS will be included in select markets. (But not NBC.)
But what about regional sports networks, you ask?
At launch, the Fubo Sports plan will include the local regional channels for the following teams:
Florida Panthers
Portland Trailblazers
Tampa Bay Lightning
Utah Jazz
Utah Mammoth
Vegas Golden Knights
In the coming months, Fubo will likely add to that list. But for now, that’s it.
Gene, I hope that answers your question. Happy viewing and stay safe!
