Does Sling TV’s $4.99 Day Pass Include Fox’s NFL Games?

TV Answer Man, does Sling TV’s $4.99 day pass let you watch games on Fox? I was thinking of getting it this Sunday for the NFL games. Please let me know and thank you for all you do for us! – Scott, Portland, Maine.

Scott, as you know, Sling last month launched a $4.99 a month ‘Day Pass,’ enabling TV viewers to watch the streaming service for a single day without any further obligation.

However, the $4.99 one-day deal is only available for Sling TV’s Orange plan which does not include Fox (or CBS; Sling TV does not carry CBS in any plan.). So you could not use the plan to watch a NFL game or college football game on Fox which is in Sling’s Blue plan. (Blue and Orange are $45.99 each a month.)

The Orange plan does include ESPN which would allow you to watch Monday Night Football NFL games and the sports network’s college football games on a single day. You also could watch NBA games on TNT with the single-day of Orange.

By the way, the Orange-only restriction is the same for Sling’s $9.99 Weekend Pass and its $14.99 Week Pass.

Disney is suing Sling TV for offering ESPN in its short-term plans, saying it did not authorize it.

Scott, I hope that answers your question. Happy viewing and stay safe!
