Fubo announced today that it will launch a sports-specific plan on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, that will include more than 20 sports and broadcast channels for $55.99 a month with $10 off the first month. The plan, called Fubo Sports, will initially launch in select markets with a wider launch expected later, the company said in a press release today.

Fubo Sports, which is similar to DIRECTV’s $69.99 a month MySports genre pack, will include ABC, CBS and Fox (but not NBC) in select markets as well as the ACC Network, Big 10 Network, CBS Sports Network, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNews, ESPNU, Fox News, FS1, FS2, Fubo Sports Network, ION, NFL Network, SEC Network and Tennis Channel.

Some sports channels not included: TNT and TBS (which Fubo does not carry); NBC; MLB Network, NHL Network; and network affiliates in markets where Fubo will not offer them at launch.

Fubo said some network 4K programming will be included with the plan as will free access to ESPN’s new Unlimited app, including ESPN+. The live streamer said Fubo Sports will be a standalone plan, meaning you do not need a Fubo base package to subscribe to it.

Fubo Sports will include on demand programming, unlimited DVR use, and the streamer’s Family Share feature.

“At Fubo, we have always believed a streaming service must provide consumers with multiple, flexible and more affordable content options – and that consumers should be able to subscribe to the content they choose,” said David Gandler, co-founder and CEO of Fubo. “The launch of Fubo Sports will add another content tier to our broad portfolio, super-serving passionate sports fans. With our signature pay TV streaming service alongside standalone sports offerings, Pay-Per-View live events and now Fubo Sports, we will continue to offer consumers multiple competitively-priced content options within the Fubo ecosystem, free of friction.”

Fubo did not reveal which markets will get the ABC, CBS and Fox network affiliates at launch nor where Fubo Sports will launch on Tuesday.

I was anxiously awaiting this bundle but it seems like a let-down. It’s not like the rumored Venue Sports. No NBC, TNT, TBS, Tru. I’ll just stick with the DirecTV My Sports bundle for only $14 more per month. I have all of my locals plus MLB Net, the NCAA tournament channels such as Tru, TNT, TBS and we get Fox One in addition to ESPN unlimited. I think DirecTV one-upped everyone with an offering in line with Venue…albeit for a higher price point.
