The TV Answer Man – Buy Me a Coffee!

ABC, CBS, PBS, FOX, NBC and The CW tonight (March 22, 2026) will add 16 shows. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion. (All Times Eastern):

Marshals (New episode)
What Kind of Show: Drama/Western
Where to Watch: CBS
When to Watch: 8 p.m.
Who’s In It: Luke Grimes, Gil Birmingham

The latest Yellowstone spin-off, Marshals, stars Luke Grimes as Kayce Dutton, a former Navy Seal and rancher who joins the U.S. Marshals to protect Montana. Grimes was a popular player on Yellowstone so not surprisingly Marshals has been a ratings hit. Tonight, in episode four, titled, ‘The Gathering Storm,’ Kayce is under investigation for using excessive force while wrangling a bad guy. Since this is a Taylor Sheridan show, and Kayce is the show’s hero, don’t expect any convictions. Sorry, liberals.

60 Minutes (New episode)
What Kind of Show: TV News Magazine
Where to Watch: CBS
When to Watch: 7 p.m.
Anderson Cooper, who will soon exit stage left due to creative differences with CBS News’ new executive team, will report on how dogs can teach us how to live longer and healthier. Plus, Lesley Stahl examines the United States’ concerning shipbuilding deficit.

Martin Scorsese Presents the Saints
What Kind of Show: Religious Docudrama
Where to Watch: FOX
When to Watch: 7 p.m.

You might not expect a religious docudrama from the man who made Goodfellas, Casino, Taxi Driver and The Departed. But Martin Scorsese also made the Last Crucifixion of Christ and Silence. The auteur has always stressed the importance of religion in his life and the influence it has had on his work. So, tonight, Marty presents a special Easter/St. Patrick episode on St. Patrick. (Scorsese does the narration.)
