Sling TV, the live streaming service owned by Dish, today added Max to its lineup of add-on premium services. Subscribers can now order the ad-free Max plan for $16.99 a month and get access to the Max app and eight different live HBO channels on Sling, including HBO East, HBO West, HBO 2, HBO Latino, HBO Family, HBO Zone, HBO Comedy and HBO Signature.

Max, a streaming service formerly known as HBO Max, includes programming from Discovery, Turner and HBO, among other Warner Bros. Discovery properties.

“Sling is committed to providing our customers with the ultimate choice and flexibility in entertainment and that only continues with this partnership,” Gary Schanman, group president of Dish video services, said in a statement. “By adding Max to our lineup, we’re ensuring our subscribers have the power to watch what they want.”

As part of the launch, Sling is offering a new programming bundle that provides new and existing customers a $5 monthly discount when they order Sling Blue with Max or Sling Blue plus Sling Orange with Max. The regular cost of Sling Blue with Max would be $57 a month, but the discount would reduce it to $52 a month. Sling Blue with Sling Orange plus Max would be reduced $5 to $66.99 a month.

What Is Sling TV’s Blue Plan?

The Blue plan provides more than 40 channels including the three major cable news networks, CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, as well as leading ‘basic cable’ networks as FS1, Bravo, The Cartoon Network, AMC, TNT, TBS, and your local Fox and NBC affiliates in select markets.

What Is Sling TV’s Orange Plan?

The Orange package only offers more than 30 channels so you might think Blue is better. But Orange includes ESPN, ESPN 2 and ESPN 3, which are must-haves for many sports fans. In addition, the Orange plan has CNN, Comedy Central, TBS, TNT and AMC.
