Netflix to Add 20 New Releases This Week: The 3 to Watch

Netflix this week (February 9-15, 2026) will add 20 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:

The Hunting Party (Season One)
When to Watch: Sunday, February 15
What Kind of Show: Crime Drama
Who’s In It: Melissa Roxburgh, Nick Wechsler
How’s this for a premise? The world’s most dangerous serial killers escape from a top-secret prison and a special force is tasked to catch each one before they kill again. The show, which is now in its second season on NBC, will make the algorithm machine ring at Netflix which has never met a serial killer it didn’t stream. Season one debuts on Netflix on Sunday, February 15 (with season two undoubtedly not far behind.)

Love Is Blind (Season 10)
When to Watch: Wednesday, February 11
What Kind of Show: Dating Reality
Who’s In It: Young Ohio Singles
Season 19 of the Netflix dating series will feature a few dozen randy Ohio men and women who will take turns jumping into shielded pods to discuss life, sex and other trivial matters while searching for ‘the one.’ The show is more disposable than an ultra-soft box of Kleenex but it’s harmless and occasionally funny. And if you’re a 20something, it’s probably irresistible.

The Black Phone (2021)
When to Watch: Thursday, February 12
What Kind of Movie: Horror
Who’s In It: Ethan Hawke, Mason Thames
Mason Thames stars as a young lad who’s kidnapped by a serial killer (Ethan Hawke) called The Grabber and held in his basement. While trapped, the boy finds a rotary black phone that enables him to call the ghosts of The Grabber’s previous victims. The Black Phone was a surprise box office and critical hit and soon led to a sequel, Black Phone 2.
