ABC, CBS, Fox, The CW and NBC tonight (January 16, 2026) will add 14 new shows to their lineups. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:

College Basketball: Baylor at Kansas
Where to Watch: Fox
When to Watch: 8 p.m.

The 11-5 Baylor Bears visit the 12-5 Kansas Jayhawks in this Big 12 matchup. The Bears are led by sharp-shooting sophomore Cameron Carr who’s averaging 20.3 points a game on 54.3 FG percentage. The Jayhawks are paced by senior Tre Wright who’s averaging 15.4 points a game. ESPN’s Matchup Predictor gives Kansas a 77.5 percent chance of winning.

20/20 (New episode)
Where to Watch: ABC
When to Watch: 9 p.m.

The investigative team at 20/20 will get two hours tonight to solve the mysterious and brutal murder of a Bethesda, Maryland woman in 2010. The trail leads to a missing $300.000 and a strange individual living in Guadalajara who may have a dual identity.

Stumble (New episode)
Where to Watch: NBC
When to Watch: 8:30 p.m.

Did you like The Office? Parks and Recreation? Then you will probably like Stumble, a mockumentary-style comedy about a cheerleading team at a West Texas junior college. The talented cast includes former SNL cast member Taran Killam as a local college football coach and Jenn Lyon as the cheerleading coach. Tonight is a new episode (number seven in season one): Lyon’s character whips her squad into shape for a big event in Daytona while still navigating the fallout of a controversial leaked tape recording. (If you like the show tonight, you can catch the first six episodes of season one at Peacock. Stumble debuted in November.)
