Hulu to Add 24 New Releases This Week: The 3 to Watch

Hulu this week (January 4-10, 2026) will add 24 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:

A Thousand Blows – Season Two

What Kind of Show: Drama
When to Watch: Friday, January 9
Malachi Kirby stars as Hezekiah, an illegal boxer who’s recruited to help run an all-female shoplifting ring in the 19th Century. However, the plan hits a roadblock when he runs up against a punishing pugilist played by Stephen Graham. Based on a real story, the first season tapped the vibe of the popular British crime drama, Peaky Blinders (PB’s creator, Stephen Knight wrote A Thousand Blows). In season two, Hezekiah suffers regrets from his actions in season one while the gang’s leader (Erin Doherty from Netflix’s Adolescence) tightens the reins on the gang and Hezekiah. (Graham will reprise his role as well.)

The Luckiest Man In America
What Kind of Show: Drama
When to Watch: Tuesday, January 6
Based loosely on a true story, Paul Walter Hauser (Richard Jewell) stars as Michael Larson, a lowly truck driver who wins thousands of dollars on a game show via questionable means. Walton Goggins is the game show’s host who initially tries to trip up Larson, fearing he will bankrupt the program. The Luckiest Man In America is a showcase for some of the best character actors ever (Hauser, Goggins and David Strathairn as the show’s executive producer) as well as an inspiring drama about a ‘little’ man who strikes it big when given a chance.

Bruce Springsteen: Nebraska Live (2025)
What Kind of Show: Concert
When to Watch: Wednesday, January 7
If you watched the recent theatrical release, Springsteen: Deliver Me From Nowhere, starring Jeremy Allen White, you’ll love this concert film featuring ‘The Boss’ singing every tune from his 1982 album, Nebraska. (The movie chronicles Springsteen’s struggle to record Nebraska.) The performance was recorded in black and white at the Count Basie Theater in Red Bank, New Jersey.
