Max, the streaming service formerly known as Max, is now offering its ads-included plan for $2.99 a month for the first six months as part of a Black Friday promotion. The deal is good until December 2, 2024.
The ads-included Max is normally $9.99 a month so the promotion would save you $42 over six months.
Note that the regular rate would apply if you don’t cancel prior to the end of the six months. The deal is available to new and returning customers via Max.com or through the following providers: Apple, Google Play, Roku, Samsung and Xumo, and new Max customers via Amazon Fire.
Max offers a mix of HBO and Discovery programming as well as live sports from TNT and TBS, news programs from CNN, movies from Turner Movie Classics and shows from other sources.
In other Black Friday streaming deals, Amazon’s Prime Video service is now selling both Paramount Plus plans for $2.99 a month for the first two months as part of its Black Friday sale. The regular Paramount Plus plan, which does not include Showtime, is $7.99 a month while the Paramount Plus with Showtime package is $12.99 a month. The Black Friday discount is good for both plans until December 2.
And Peacock is now available for $1.99 a month.
