Walmart is now offering its Amazon Prime-like Walmart Plus service for 50 percent off, bringing the annual price from $98 to $49.

The annual plan includes free delivery, early access to Black Friday items, free delivery of pharmaceutical prescriptions, and a one year subscription to either Paramount Essential (with ads) or Peacock Premium (with ads.)

The Paramount Essential plan normally costs $7.99 a month or $59.99 a year. (Prices rising to $8.99 a month and $89.99 a year in January.) So the Walmart Plus 50 percent off one year sale would save you some money on Paramount Plus.

However, the Peacock Premium plan is $10.99 a month or $109.99 a year. So you could save roughly $60 by getting Walmart Plus now instead of subscribing directly to Peacock Premium for a year.

Paramount Essential includes the Paramount library of shows and movies but does not include all live sports from CBS or a live feed of your local CBS affiliate. The plan also does not include Showtime programming.

Peacock Premium includes ads but also has live sports from NBC as well as the regular Peacock catalog of shows and movies.

The Walmart Plus annual plan allows you to change streaming services between Paramount and Peacock every 90 days if you want to.
