TV Answer Man, I have the Disney Plus/Hulu bundle. Will I be able to add the new ESPN app to my bundle? How much would it cost? – Dale, Manhattan Beach, California.
Dale, ESPN tomorrow (Thursday, August 21) will launch its much-anticipated standalone app for cord cutters. The streaming service will offer live feeds of all ESPN sports networks plus on demand programming for $29.99 a month. You will not need a cable or satellite subscription to order it.
If you have the Disney/Hulu bundle, or you’re considering getting it, the cheapest way to get all three streaming services together will be to subscribe directly to the new ESPN unlimited app. For the first 12 months, ESPN will include the Disney/Hulu bundle with ads at no extra cost. So, for $29.99 a month, you will get all three.
The regular rate for the trio bundle, which is now $35.99 a month with ads and $44.99 without ads, will apply at the end of the 12 months. But it’s a nice deal for the first year.
Dale, I hope that answers your question. Happy viewing and stay safe!
