If you’re a Comcast Xfinity X1 subscriber, and you’re looking for something to watch this weekend, the cable operator is offering a free preview of season one of Netflix’s hit series, Squid Game.

The free preview is available through Sunday, June 22. The freebie is timed to coincide with Netflix’s debut of season three of Squid Game on Friday, June 27.

Squid Game is a drama featuring hundreds of broke contestants who go for broke by risking their lives for cash prizes in a game show. The South Korean-made series is a biting but sometimes inspiring commentary on class warfare and the human survival instinct. Seasons one and two are now available on Netflix and you can watch all nine episodes of season one for free on Comcast.

How to Watch Squid Game On Comcast
Xfinity X1 customers can watch season one for free by saying “Squid Game” into their voice remote to start watching all nine episodes; no Netflix subscription required. There will be four language viewing options available – Korean (with English subtitles), Korean (with Spanish subtitles), English dubbed, and Spanish dubbed.

Xfinity customers can also subscribe to Xfinity StreamSaver, a $15 streaming bundle that includes Netflix Standard with ads (along with Peacock Premium and Apple TV+) directly on their device in advance of the season 3 premiere on Netflix.
