Does YouTube TV Carry the MLB Network?

TV Answer Man, thinking of subscribing to YouTube TV but do you know if they have the MLB Network and MLB TV? Pretty important with the season coming up. – Jamie, Washington, D.C.

Jamie, YouTube TV lost both the MLB Network and MLB TV in February 2023 in a carriage dispute. The blackout has irked baseball fans, and many have asked yours truly if there’s any chance that YouTube TV will bring the channel back before the 2025 season.

Well, the odds are pretty slim. Despite being the exclusive carrier of the NFL Sunday Ticket, YouTube TV has been reluctant to add niche sports programming. In addition to the loss of the two MLB services, the streamer is now carrying only five regional sports networks.

MLB Opening Day Woes For YouTube TV Fans

MLB’s opening day is this Thursday, March 27, but it appears that YouTube TV will not make baseball fans very happy with its current lineup.
