Hulu this week (January 12-18, 2026) will add 10 new shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the two to watch, in my humble opinion:

Tell Me Lies (Two episode season three premiere)
What Kind of Show: Drama
When to Watch: Tuesday, January 13
Who’s In It: Grace Van Patten, Jackson White

The dramatic series stars Grace Van Patten as a college coed who becomes entangled in a toxic relationship with an older student (Jackson White) over the course of eight years. The show, now in its third season on Hulu, has become a surprise hit with many comparing it favorably to HBO’s Big Little Lies. (Featured image of Jackson White and Grace Van Patten from the show.)

Going Dutch – Season Two Premiere
What Kind of Show: Comedy
When to Watch: Friday, January 16 (Airs the night before on Fox.)
Who’s In It: Denis Leary, Kristen Johnston

Denis Leary stars as a U.S. army colonel who’s hired to bring order and discipline to a band of military outcasts in the Netherlands. It’s the perfect vehicle for Leary’s abrasive style of humor. Tonight’s season two premiere focuses on the squad’s ineptness in playing laser tag. Kristen Johnston joins the cast tonight as a high-ranking NATO officer.
