Netflix this week (April 5-11, 2026) will add 13 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:

Tyson Fury vs. Arslanbek Makhmudov – Netflix Live Event
When to Watch: April 11, 2 p.m. ET (Preliminaries to start at 11 a.m. ET)
What Kind of Show: Sports
Who’s In It: Tyson Fury, Arslanbek Makhmudov
Netflix is back in the ring with this Saturday’s (April 11) match from London between former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (34-2-1) and knockout specialist Arslanbek Makhmudov (21-2, 19 KOs). Fury hasn’t fought since December 2024, losing to Oleksandr Usyk by unanimous decision. He hopes a quick victory against Makhmudov will put him in line for a major payday against Anthony Joshua.

Beast (2022)
When to Watch: Tuesday, April 7
What Kind of Movie: Action/Adventure
Who’s In It: Idris Elba, Iyana Halley
Idris Elba stars as the Dad of two teen daughters whose safari vacation experience turns deadly when they are stalked by a man-eating lion. The film, which was released in 2022, received mixed reviews from the critics but those who liked it called it an exciting thriller. On Tuesday, you can decide for yourself.

Thrash (2026)
When to Watch: Friday, April 10
What Kind of Movie: Thriller
Who’s In It: Phoebe Dynevor, Whitney Peak
Netflix is really going for it this week. From fisticuffs to man-eating lions to Thrash, a Netflix exclusive movie starring Phoebe Dynevor as a pregnant woman trapped in a car during a hurricane. That’s bad enough but the car is soon surrounded by coastal waters filled with sharks.
