Amazon’s Prime Video during Easter Week (April 5-11, 2026) is adding four new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here’s the one to watch, in my humble opinion:
The Boys (Season Five)
When to Watch: Wednesday, April 8
What Kind of Show: Comedy/Adventure
Who’s In It: Jack Quaid, Karl Urban, Erin Moriarty
The Amazon original comedy/adventure series asks the question: What could happen if our superheroes decided to turn on us? And, we had to band together to stop them? The premise seems a touch perverse, even in today’s cynical age, but Amazon has successfully turned the idea now into five seasons and the critics seem to love it. The first four seasons generated scores of 85, 97, and 98 and 92 respectively at Rotten Tomatoes. The pleasing cast includes Jack Quaid, Karl Urban, Erin Moriarty and Antony Starr.
