Netflix, Disney, HBO, Peacock Add 9 New Releases Today: The 3 to Watch

Netflix, Disney Plus, HBO Max, Peacock and Hulu today (March 10, 2026) have added nine new TV shows and movies to their streaming lineups. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:

Fukushima: A Nuclear Nightmare

What Kind of Show: Documentary
In March 2011, a 9.0 earthquake triggered a massive Tsumani off the coast of northeast Japan, killing more than 20,000 people. But the real threat – the near-cataclysmic event that you probably didn’t hear about – was the meltdown of a major nuclear plant that officials feared could wipe out much of Tokyo. This new HBO original documentary chronicles the events and the courageous work of plant employees that prevented an unprecedented disaster.

If you missed last night’s new American Idol episode, here’s your chance to catch up. The celebrity judges will preside over a cut-down round, trimming the contestants from 30 to 20. Find out which singer brought Carrie Underwood to tears.

Who’s In It: Vince Staples
Vince Staples hosts this celebration of the Mexican fast food joint with appearances from a slew of people I’ve never heard of: Ariana Madix, Ashley Park, Benson Boone, Ciara Miller, Davante Adams, Devon Walker, DJ Pee Wee (aka Anderson Paak), Doja Cat, Ego Nwodim, Fernando Mendoza, Myke Towers, and Yeat. (Yeat?) The ‘celebrities’ will participate in the unveiling of new Taco Bell products as well as perform. And viewers at home will get a chance to win prizes, such as Peacock subscriptions. Okay, I know this sounds like a big ad for Taco Bell – and, yes, it is a big ad for Taco Bell – but it sounds so ridiculous that it has to be entertaining.
