Paramount Plus this month (December 2025) plans to add 122 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:

Little Disasters (Series Premiere, Paramount Plus Original)
Release Date: December 11

Jo Joyner stars as an emergency room doctor who struggles whether to report a child’s serious (and suspicious) head injury to authorities when she discovers the child’s Mom is her best friend (Diane Kruger). The entire six-part limited series will debut on December 11.

Predators (Paramount Plus Original Documentary)
Release Date: December 8

Remember the NBC expose show, To Catch a Predator, hosted by Chris Hanson? Now comes the documentary on the 2000s crime reality series. Predators examines the show’s cultural and criminal impact, featuring interviews with Hanson and others. However, it’s not all laudatory. The doc’s producers say To Catch a Predator has left a ‘complicated legacy’ due to ethical and legal concerns.

American Hustle (2013)
Release Date: December 1

David O. Russell’s brilliant 2013 comedy-drama based on the real-life FBI Abscam sting operation in the 1970s. Christian Bale and Amy Adams star as two con artists who are forced by an FBI agent (Bradley Cooper) to help the agency set up corrupt politicians, including the mayor of Camden, New Jersey, played by Jeremy Renner. The film is a dazzling display of human folly and Russell has never been better. The great cast also includes Jennifer Lawrence, Jack Huston and Robert DeNiro.
