Does the 2025 NFL Sunday Ticket Still Have a Free Trial?

TV Answer Man, you wrote that there was a free trial for the NFL Sunday Ticket. Do you know if they still have that available? – Jamal, Sacramento, California.

Jamal, you’re right. Shortly before week one of the NFL regular season, YouTube began offering a seven-day free trial to the 2025 NFL Sunday Ticket. The free trial was noted at checkout when you purchased the package of out-of-market Sunday afternoon games. With the free trial, you could watch the games, and not have to pay for the subscription if you cancelled prior to the end of the seven days.

I am happy to report that the seven-day free trial still comes with the Sunday Ticket. I don’t know how long YouTube will offer it, but it’s there as of this morning. (During the previous two seasons, YouTube removed the free trial after the first month of the season.)

Note that the free trial is only available to new users, which means if you previously subscribed to the Ticket or used a free trial, you are not eligible. Also, if you don’t cancel prior to the end of the seven days, you will be billed for the entire season. The price for new users is $480 for the Sunday Ticket on YouTube Primetime Channels and $378 if the plan is bundled with your YouTube TV subscription.
