Updated: Does the 2025 NFL Sunday Ticket Have a Free Trial?

TV Answer Man, do you know if you can get a free trial to the NFL Sunday Ticket? I don’t know if I want to subscribe but I would like to watch it for a week. – Carl, Des Moines, Iowa.

Carl, the 2025 NFL Sunday Ticket will begin on September 7 with the first week of Sunday afternoon games. The full season price for new users is $276 while you might have to pay as much as $480 if you are a returning subscriber. At those prices, I can see why you might want to try it for free!

Well, YouTube today did begin offering a one-week free trial to the 2025 NFL Sunday Ticket, but you have to know where to look. Plus, when you find it, there’s a catch.

Update: The free trial is still available for week two.

The free trial offer does not appear on the main NFL Sunday Ticket page, at least not as of noon ET today (September 5). However, when you click on the Get It Now or Get Both Now buttons, the free trial is noted at the top of the checkout page.

But here’s the catch: The free trial may only be available to new users, not former or current subscribers to the Sunday Ticket. The current terms of agreement do not address this but it was only for new users last year.

If you do get the free trial, note that if you don’t cancel your subscription prior to the end of the seven-day free trial, you will be billed for the entire season.

For those unfamiliar with the Ticket, it offers all out-of-market Sunday afternoon NFL games; that means games not broadcast on your local channels.
