DIRECTV Adds 4 New Free Channels to MyFree DIRECTV

DIRECTV has added four new Warner Bros, Discovery channels to its free ad-supported streaming service called MyFreeDIRECTV. The TV provider says it will add 12 more WBD free channels in the coming months.

 

MyFree DIRECTV, which is available to both DIRECTV subscribers and non-DIRECTV consumers, now includes more than 110 live channels and on-demand programming. You can watch the free channels by creating a DIRECTV account at DIRECTV.com and then going to the DIRECTV Stream app or this web page.

 

The four new free channels now available to watch are: Mythbusters, Say Yes to the Dress, Beach Day and Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern. Below is a short summary of each new addition:

 

Mythbusters – Hollywood special effects experts put urban legends to the test.

 

Say Yes to the Dress – Kleinfeld Bridal give a pending bride the full-works treatment including makeovers and therapy.

 

Beach Day – Travel buffs go in search of the perfect beach.

 

Bizarre Foods With Andrew Zimmern – The foodie fanatic spans the globe in search of exotic foods.

 

What Is MyFree DIRECTV?

MyFree DIRECTV, which started with 70 channels in November 2024, now has more than 110 channels and is expected to add more channels in the coming weeks and months. DIRECTV is hoping that MyFree DIRECTV will generate additional advertising revenue as well as attract potential customers who might subscribe after coming to its site/app.
