MLB TV, baseball’s online package of out-of-market games, is now available for free through Thursday, July 31, 2025. The plan now normally costs $94.99 with two months left in the season.
The league is offering MLB TV for free to highlight this week’s MLB Trade Deadline which ends tomorrow.
To watch out-of-market games for free today and Thursday, you just need an MLB.com account; no credit card is required.
MLB TV is available 400 supported devices, including Roku, Amazon Fire TV, computers, smart phones and tablets, among others. The streaming service also includes minor league games through the First Pitch or MiLB apps, a live stream of the MLB Network, and a live audio stream of all MLB games.
Local blackouts still apply in the MLB TV package. By MLB TV rules, you cannot watch the team or teams in your local market with a MLB.TV subscription. You can determine which teams would be blacked out in your zip code here.
