Super Bowl/Olympics Deal Alert: YouTube TV Is Free For 3 Weeks

The TV Answer Man – Buy Me a Coffee!

TV Answer Man, I want to watch the Super Bowl. But I am a cord cutter and I don’t like the idea of installing some antenna just to watch NBC for one single day. Any ideas how I can watch the game without paying any money – and not go through a lot of inconvenience? PS. – Wouldn’t mind watching the Olympics, too. – Harry, Berkeley, California.

Harry, I hear you. NBC on Sunday (February 8, 2026) will broadcast Super Bowl 60 between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks. Kickoff will be around 6:40 p.m. ET but NBC will have coverage throughout the day.

I usually tell people that an antenna is the cheapest way to watch a single event on a network, assuming you already own one and you can get a decent signal from the network affiliate. But in this case, I am advocating another way to watch the game without paying an extra dime.

YouTube TV, the live streaming service, is now offering a 21-day free trial for its $82.99 a month base plan. The free trial is only for new users, but if you haven’t subscribed to the streamer before, you could sign up today and watch the Super Bowl on Sunday and the Olympics until its conclusion on February 22.

Just be sure to cancel prior to the end of the 21 days or you will be billed for the first month. Although you might want to stay with YouTube TV, particularly since it’s now offering the first two months for just $59.99 a month.

Harry, I hope that solves your problem. Happy viewing and stay safe!
