Netflix to Add 14 New Releases This Week – Here Are the 5 to Watch

Netflix this week (June 16-22, 2025) plans to add 14 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the highlights.

America’s Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders – Season Two
The Netflix original documentary reveals what it takes to become a member of the most famous cheerleader squad on Earth with unprecedented access to backstage auditions, strategy sessions and other prep work by the high-kicking aspirants. Season two debuts Wednesday, June 18. Season one now available on Netflix.

Scandal – Seasons One to Seven
Kerry Washington stars in this juicy ABC drama about a team of lawyers who make political scandals go away (while creating a few of their own.) All seven seasons available on Tuesday, June 17.

Trainwreck: Mayor of Mayhem – Netflix Original Documentary
The Netflix doc examines the tumultuous reign of Rob Ford, the crack-smoking mayor of Toronto. Available on Tuesday, June 17.

Somebody Feed Phil – Season Eight – Netflix Original
Phil Rosenthal takes his appetite and culinary skills to more exotic lands and restaurants. Available on Wednesday, June 18.

The Intern (2022)
Anne Hathaway stars as a fashion designer whose ad for a ‘senior intern’ inadvertently leads to the hiring of a 70-year-old, played by Robert De Niro. Available on Sunday, June 22.
