NFL Sunday Ticket: YouTube Lowers the Student Price – But Act Fast!

TV Answer Man, do you know if YouTube will have any discounts for the NFL Sunday Ticket if you are a college student? — Jamal, Sacramento.

Jamal, YouTube last February said this year’s college student plan for the NFL Sunday Ticket is $199 and $209 for the bundled plan with the NFL RedZone included. That’s roughly 50 percent more than the college student price last year.

But I have good news for you. YouTube is now offering a college student discount for the Ticket. But you better act fast.

Eligible students can now purchase the NFL Sunday Ticket for the 2024–25 NFL season on YouTube Primetime Channels for $109 and bundle it with NFL RedZone for $10 more. However, the offer expires after Tuesday, July 30, 2024.

Note that student plans for the Sunday Ticket can only be purchased as a YouTube Primetime Channel, but once purchased you can watch on either YouTube or YouTube TV.

YouTube says student status verification is required to be eligible for purchase. (Here’s the page where you can verify your college status.) With a student plan, Sunday Ticket access is limited to one device at a time and family sharing is not included.

To sign up for a student plan, you can:

1. Go to the NFL channel page and sign in with the Google account you would like to purchase on
2. Select Get NFL Sunday Ticket
3. Below the NFL Sunday Ticket package options, select Eligible students can save with a Student Plan.

Jamal, hope that helps. Happy viewing and stay safe!
