HBO, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Apple TV Adding 18 New Releases Today: The 3 to Watch

The TV Answer Man – Buy Me a Coffee!
Netflix, Disney Plus, Amazon Prime, Apple TV, Hulu, HBO Max, Paramount Plus and Peacock today (March 27, 2026) are adding 17 new TV shows and movies to their streaming lineups. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:
Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice
Where to Watch: Hulu
What Kind of Movie: Action Comedy
Who’s In It: Vince Vaughn, Eiza Gonzalez, James Marsden
We don’t have many details about Mike & Nick & Nick & Alice – except it has a long title and it stars Vince Vaughn and James Marsden as gangsters in love with Eiza Gonzalez. Oh, yeah, the Hulu PR folks say the main players are also trying to survive the “most dangerous night of their lives” while combatting a Time Machine. Sounds crazy but with Vaughn in lead, it has to be good. So we’re picking it.
From the World of John Wick: Ballerina
Where to Watch: HBO Max
What Kind of Movie: Action/Adventure
Who’s In It: Ana de Armas, Keanu Reeves
Ana de Armas stars as Eve, a dancing assassin (she’s a ballerina; no, she doesn’t dance while she’s shooting) in this spin-off from the John Wick vengeance series. Eve’s retribution mission comes after her father is killed by a bunch of Russian thugs. She is so bent on vengeance that she trains for 12 years with the greatest assassins in the world, including old John Wick (Keanu Reeves) himself. As you have probably guessed from my description, Ballerina is no John Wick, but de Armas (pictured above) is immensely watchable no matter what she plays and the action scenes are choreographed by the Wick team. So, lower the lights, and your expectations, and you’ll have fun.
House of David (Season Two, All Eight Episodes)
Where to Watch: Amazon’s Prime Video
What Kind of Show: Religious Drama
Who’s In It: Michael Iskander
Michael Iskander stars as the biblical figure, David, the king of ancient Israel, in this Amazon original historical dramatic series. The series chronicles his rise to power and awakening as a religious leader. What makes this show interesting is Amazon’s attempt to tap the growing audience for religious fare, a sign (so to speak) that Hollywood has finally recognized the genre. In season two, David makes the transition from lowly shepherd to powerful warrior while striving to avoid palace politics.
