Netflix, Peacock, HBO, Hulu Adding 18 New Releases Today: The 3 to Watch

The TV Answer Man – Buy Me a Coffee!

Netflix, Hulu, HBO Max, Paramount Plus and Peacock today (March 26, 2026) are adding 18 new TV shows and movies to their streaming lineups. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:

Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen (All eight episodes)
Where to Watch: Netflix
What Kind of Show: Horror
Who’s In It: Camilla Morrone, Adam DiMarco

If you’ve been wondering what The Duffer Brothers (Matt and Ross) have been doing since wrapping Netflix’s Stranger Things, wonder no more. The pair are the executive producers behind creator Haley Z. Boston’s new horror miniseries starring Camila Morrone (pictured above) as a young bride-to-be who’s haunted by a mild sense that her marriage is doomed. Her fears escalate, however, when her fiancé’s (Adam DiMarco) family starts to exhibit a certain Rosemary’s Baby-like behavior. The critics are raving about Something Very Bad Is Going to Happen, calling it terrifying. Looks like The Duffer Brothers have scored again.

Mike & Molly (Seasons 1-6)
Where to Watch: Netflix
What Kind of Show: Sitcom
Who’s In It: Billy Gardell, Melissa McCarthy

Another comfort food comedy (pun intended), Mike & Molly stars Melissa McCarthy as an overweight Chicago woman who meets the love (Billy Gardell) of her life in an overeaters group. The show, which ran for six seasons on CBS (2010-2016), is a perfect showcase for McCarthy’s chaotic style of comedy and Gardell is also very good in co-lead. Mike & Molly is a rare time when a network sitcom didn’t ridicule a character’s weight issue but instead garnered sympathy for them while still bringing the jokes. Good show!

MLB Baseball: Triple Header
Where to Watch: Peacock (Starts at 1 p.m. ET)
What Kind of Show: Sports
Who’s In It: Juan Soto, Paul Skenes

Baseball is back on NBC and sister streamer Peacock has three games on tap today, the Opening Day for most clubs. The triple header starts with the 1 p.m. ET matchup with Pittsburgh (and starting pitcher Paul Skenes) visiting the New York Mets and Juan Soto. The Angels play the Astros at 4 p.m. ET and the Diamondbacks face the World Champion Dodgers at 8 p.m. ET. Enjoy!
