Will DIRECTV Carry the Atlanta Braves Games In 2026?
By Phillip Swann
The TV Answer Man – Buy Me a Coffee!
TV Answer Man, we have DIRECTV streaming and are huge Braves fans. For the past couple of years we watched on FanDuel. Now that is no longer available. We live in southeast Alabama and all Braves games televised on the MLB network are regionally blocked. Do you know what the plan is for the Braves? Thank you! – Dorie, town withheld.
Dorie, as you know, the Atlanta Braves have terminated its relationship with the regional sports network (RSN), FanDuel Sports Network, and started instead a new RSN called Braves Vision. The channel, which will be available to stream at Braves.TV, is expected to cost $99 for the season or $19.99 a month. Prices should be announced soon.
Update: Directv will add the Braves on Opening Day.
Update #2: DIRECTV officially adds the Braves channel on Opening Day (March 27).
Will Cable & Satellite Carry Braves Vision?
But what about the cable and satellite services that carried the Braves on FanDuel Sports Network in 2025? Will they still provide the Braves in their lineups.
Answer: Yes. The odds are very good that every TV provider that carried the Braves last year will do so again this year. Specifically to your question, DIRECTV has already designated a channel (645) for Braves Vision. Official announcements from cable and satellite services (and maybe Fubo) are expected in the next few weeks before Opening Day.
Where Will Braves Vision Be Available?
Braves Vision will be available in parts of North Carolina, all of Tennessee, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama and Mississippi. You can see the Braves Vision TV map below.

So, Dorie, if you have DIRECTV streaming, and you live in Alabama, you will be able to watch the Braves on channel 645 by Opening Day.
Last note: DIRECTV has also told The TV Answer Man that it ‘anticipates’ adding every ex-Fan Duel Sports Network team (and the Washington Nationals) by Opening Day. See our article for more details.
I hope that answers your question. Happy viewing and stay safe!

I thought BravesVision was going to be a National channel lineup, like CNN, Fox, etc. So if we are in Florida, and want to watch our Braves, are we going to be able to do this, with no problem, With FanDuel, we could not watch them at all, in NC,MS, etc.
Paul, BravesVision will be regional, not national. You would need a MLB TV $149.99 out of market plan to watch their games in Florida.
I spoke with DirecTV today (24 March, 2026) and their representative said they have no agreement to carry the Braves Vision network or Atlanta Braves games. Channel 645 does not appear on my channel list.
That’s the official line and what the customer reps are told to say. It will probably be announced on Thursday or Friday.
channel 645 doesnt exist on directv satellite in Nashville. will it? if so will it be all season or spot coverage?
Billy, look for it on Friday.
