Fox, CBS, NBC, ABC, CW Adding 13 Shows Tonight: The 3 to Watch

Fox, CW, NBC, CBS, and ABC tonight (February 24, 2026) will add 13 shows to their lineups. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion. (All Times Eastern.)

The State of the Union
Where to Watch: ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC
When to Watch: 9 p.m.
Who’s In It: President Trump, Congress

President Trump will address the Congress tonight and two big questions await: 1. Will he declare war on Iran?; 2. How many congressional Democrats will boycott the speech and stay home? Regardless, it should be a speech for the ages with pols from both sides possibly chiming in from the aisles, Great Britain style.

WWE: NXT (New episode)
Where to Watch: The CW
When to Watch: 8 p.m.
Who’s In It: The Dark State, The Vanity Project

And speaking of wrestling, The CW’s weekly wrasslin’ spectacular will feature a Tag Team championship bout with plenty of overlapping toe holds. The channel’s PR team says the championship match will pit the Dark State (No, not the Deep State; that’s on the other channels) vs. The Vanity Project. If you’re looking for a refuge from political grappling tonight, try some real grappling with the WWE. It’s a fun show if you don’t take it too seriously.

Best Medicine (New Episode)
Where to Watch: Fox
When to Watch: 8 p.m.
Who’s In It: Josh Charles, Annie Potts, Abigail Spencer

Josh Charles stars as Dr. Martin Best, a brilliant Boston doctor (there are only brilliant doctors in primetime TV) who moves to a small fishing village in Maine where comic hijinks and poignant pauses soon ensue. Charles (The Good Wife) is an amiable and amusing presence in this ‘fish out of water’ tale, if you’ll forgive the pun. We don’t have any details on tonight’s new episode but last week featured the good doctor expressing his fear of blood. Now that’s an occupational hazard.
