Feb. 22: NBC, Fox, CBS, CW, ABC Adding 17 Shows Tonight: The 3 to Watch

The CW, NBC, CBS, ABC and Fox tonight (February 22, 2026) will add 17 shows to their lineups. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion. (All Times Eastern.)

Primetime In Milan

Where to Watch: NBC
When to Watch: 9 p.m.
NBC’s exclusive primetime coverage of the 2026 Winter Olympics ends tonight with highlights from the last day of events including the Men’s Hockey final between the USA and Canada, Bobsled, Freestyle Skiing and the Closing Ceremony. If you didn’t get a chance to watch earlier today on Peacock, this is a great way to catch up. Just be careful of spoilers from those who love to spoil.

NBA Basketball: Celtics at Lakers
What Kind of Show: Sports
Where to Watch: NBC
When to Watch: 6:30 p.m.
Okay, it’s not Magic vs. Bird or Russell vs. Chamberlain, but the historic rivalry between the Lakers and Celtics never gets old (nor does LA’s LeBron James evidently). As Seinfeld once quipped, ‘We are actually rooting for the laundry (meaning the uniforms).’ The current rendition of the LA-Boston blood feud features the Lakers’ magnificent Luka Doncic who’s averaging 33 points a game and Boston’s Jaylen Brown who’s pumping in 29.2 points per contest. The Celtics lead the Atlantic Division with a 36-19 record while the Lakers are atop the Pacific Division with a 34-21 record.

60 Minutes (New episode)
What Kind of Show: TV News Magazine
Where to Watch: CBS
When to Watch: 7 p.m.
Sharyn Alfonsi, last seen screaming at her boss over a story on a prison in El Salvador, will investigate whether AI can be regarded as art while Anderson Cooper, who is resigning from the show over alleged editorial interference (among other things), will examine charges of white genocide in South Africa. Whoa, there’s more drama on the 60 Minutes set than on the screen.
