Netflix, HBO, Amazon, Hulu Adding 6 New Releases Today: The 3 to Watch

Netflix, Hulu, Amazon’s Prime Video, HBO Max and Peacock today (February 24, 2026) are adding six new TV shows and movies to their streaming lineups. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:

Tornado (2025)
What Kind of Movie: Action/Drama
Where to Watch: Hulu
Who’s In It: Tim Roth, Koki
Looking for a hidden gem? Try Tornado, the 2025 film starring supermodel Koki as a young Japanese woman in 18th Century Scotland who’s hunted by a band of robbers led by the ruthless Sugarman (Tim Roth). The chase soon turns deadly, and personal to Koki, who resolves to become the hunter rather than the hunted. Sight and Sound wrote that Tornado “achieves his aim: to provide exhilarating samurai action while asking existential questions about the elemental forces that dispassionately shape, and can destroy us.”

Where to Watch: Amazon’s Prime Video (8 p.m. ET)
Who’s In It: Kenan Thompson, Kevin Hart
Kenan Thompson and Kevin Hart continue their sports talk show series, casting a funny eye (well, four eyes) at recent top games with celebrity interviews and other miscellaneous filler. Love sports and need a quick laugh? This one is for you.

Ancient Aliens (Season 12)
Where to Watch: Netflix
What Kind of Show: Historical Speculation
Now that former President Barack Obama, and possibly current President Trump, have told us that space aliens are real, check out the History Channel’s Ancient Aliens which postulates that future beings are responsible for building everything from the Pyramids to Stonehenge. In season 12, the show, with its tongue slightly in cheek, advances the theory that aliens moved to Jacksonville, Florida in the distant past. (Probably because property taxes got too high in Planet Nufffar.) Okay, I know this is all unprovable but it’s a fun show if you don’t take it too seriously.
