Hulu to Add 71 New Releases This Week: The 3 to Watch

Hulu this week (February 23-March 1, 2026) will add 71 new TV shows and movies to its streaming lineup. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:

 

Paradise (Season two)
When to Watch: Monday, February 23 (Three episode premiere)
What Kind of Show: Drama/Intrigue
Who’s In It: Sterling K. Brown, Julianne Nicholson, James Marsden
Sterling K. Brown (This Is Us) stars as a White House security officer who’s accused of murdering the president of the United States (James Marsden) as part of a grand conspiracy involving a secret community of elites. (Looks like the ‘Deep State’ is about to become Hollywood’s next favorite villain.) In season two, Brown’s character (pictured above) is on the run and looking for his wife while Shailene Woodley joins the cast as a survivor from an underground bunker. Underground bunker? Some ‘paradise’ this is. (Seriously, it’s a good show and season one is available on Hulu if you want to catch up.)

 

Scrubs (New Season)
When to Watch: Thursday, February 26
What Kind of Show: Medical Comedy
Who’s In It: Zach Braff, Donald Faison
Since they are in nearly every commercial, it may not seem like Zach Braff and Donald Faison are returning; feels like they never left. But the two actors are back in their ‘scrubs’ in this 10th season revival of the comedy series which aired on ABC from 2001 to 2010. Sarah Chalke, who plays a doctor on the show (but does not star in 3,569 commercials), will also return. (ABC will air the premiere episode on February 25; Hulu gets it the next day.)

 

Silver Linings Playbook (2012)
When to Watch: Sunday, March 1
What Kind of Movie: Romantic Comedy
Who’s In It: Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence, Robert De Niro
Bradley Cooper (pictured above with Jennifer Lawrence) shines in this David O. Russell comedy/drama film as a bipolar teacher named Pat who loses his grip on reality after seeing his wife having sex with a fellow teacher. Once out of a mental institution, Pat attempts to rebuild his life but is soon thrown a curve by a curvaceous young widow (Jennifer Lawrence) whose hold on reality is equally suspect. Cooper and Lawrence are wonderful together in this dysfunctional romcom and Robert De Niro is a hoot as Pat’s mentally uncertain father who lives and dies with the hometown Philadelphia Eagles. Silver Linings Playbook is a great movie that will make you smile, laugh and cry.
