NBC, Fox, CBS, ABC, CW Adding 11 New Shows Friday Night: The 3 to Watch

NBC, CBS, ABC, Fox and The CW tonight (February 6, 2026) will add 11 shows to their lineups. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion. (All Times Eastern.)

Primetime In Milan: 2026 Winter Olympics
Where to Watch: NBC
When to Watch: 8 p.m.
Who’s In It: Athletes from the entire world.
NBC is truly must-see TV tonight. The network’s primetime coverage of the 2026 Winter Olympics will be highlighted by a replay of today’s Opening Ceremony in which the athletes from every country will strut their stuff and display the most colorful garb they can find. (The event will be live at 2 p.m. ET on NBC in case you can break away from your cubicle.)

College Basketball: UConn at St. John’s
Where to Watch: Fox
When to Watch: 8 p.m.
Who’s In It: Solo Ball (Real name, I swear), Zuby Ejiofor (Also real name, I swear)
The 3rd ranked Connecticut Huskies will storm the Madison Square Garden court to take on the 22nd ranked Red Storm of St. John’s in hoops action. Great matchup; if there was anything that could tear you away from the Olympics tonight, this is it. Connecticut is led by the greatest name in basketball history, Solo Ball, a 6’4” junior averaging 14.3 points a game while St. John’s is paced by Zuby Ejiofor, a 6’9” senior who’s pumping in 15.7 points per contest and 7.5 rebounds.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (New episode)
Where to Watch: NBC
When to Watch: 11:35 p.m.
Who’s In It: Jimmy Fallon, Chris Hemsworth, Mr. Beast
Tough night for non-sports fans. With the Olympics and basketball on, ABC and CBS are basically punting for the night with no new episodes. So let’s look to Jimmy Fallon’s new Tonight Show where he will welcome Chris Hemsworth who will promote the Heck out of his new movie, Crime 101, scheduled for theatrical release on February 13. Mr. Beast, who basically now owns at least 17 percent of the Internet (or so it seems), will also appear.

Late Show With Stephen Colbert (Guests: Amanda Seyfried, Yo Yo Ma) – 11:35 p.m.
