Netflix, Peacock, Disney+, Amazon Adding 12 New Releases Today: The 3 to Watch

Netflix, Peacock, Hulu, Disney Plus, Paramount Plus and Amazon Prime are adding 12 new shows and movies today (February 4, 2026). Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:

2026 Winter Olympics
Where to Watch: Peacock
When to Watch: Coverage starts at 5:30 a.m. ET
Which Sports: Curling, Skiing
Peacock will be the streaming home of NBC’s coverage of the 2026 Winter Olympics. While the games do not officially begin until Friday, February 6, Peacock will begin its coverage on Wednesday, February 4, with alpine skiing training and some curling events (They won’t curl your hair, figuratively speaking, but hey, it’s the Olympics, right?) Note: The NBC app will also stream Olympics coverage which you can access with your pay TV user name and password credentials.

The Muppet Show (Special episode)
What Kind of Show: Comedy/Variety
Where to Watch: Disney Plus
When to Watch: 9 p.m. ET
The Muppet Show is back with a special half-hour event starring cloth-people Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy and real people (we think they’re real) Sabrina Carpenter, Seth Rogen and Maya Rudolph. Whether you’re a kid, or a kid at heart, these lovable puppets will make you laugh, dance and shine. (News reports say Disney is considering bringing the show back on a regular basis based on tonight’s ratings on ABC and views on Disney Plus. So tune in so you don’t break the hearts of children everywhere!!)

Where to Watch: Amazon’s Prime Video
Who’s In It: Kelly Rowland, Cliff Smith
Kelly Rowland stars as a female TV producer who aspires to be the first boss of a TV morning show. Her ambitions soon hit a roadblock when her ex (Cliff Smith) decides to compete for the same job. Valentine’s Day is in 10 days so watch the film and get a head start. (The movie is based on a book by a pastor called How to Win at Dating, Marriage and Sex; since it’s a pastor, those three are presumably in that order.)
