NBC, Fox, ABC, CW, CBS Add 14 New Shows Friday Night: The 3 to Watch

Fox, CBS, ABC, The CW and NBC tonight (January 23, 2026) will add 14 shows to their lineups. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion. (All Times Eastern.)

College Basketball: Ohio State at Michigan
Where to Watch: Fox
When to Watch: 8 p.m.
Third ranked Michigan (17-1) hosts longtime rival Ohio State (13-5) in this Big Ten matchup. The Wolverines are led by senior Yaxel Lendeborg who’s averaging 14.2 points a game while the Buckeyes are paced by senior Bruce Thornton who’s pumping in 20.2 points a game. ESPN’s Matchup Predictor gives Michigan a 88.8 percent chance of winning.

20/20 (New episode)
Where to Watch: ABC
When to Watch: 9 p.m.
The true crime team investigates the murder of a 19-year-old music student in 2013. The trail leads to a brilliant classmate who may be linked to a series of sexual assaults.

Stumble (New episode) 
Where to Watch: NBC
When to Watch: 8:30 p.m.
Did you like The Office? Parks and Recreation? Then you will probably like Stumble, a mockumentary-style comedy about a cheerleading team at a West Texas junior college. The talented cast includes former SNL cast member Taran Killam as a local college football coach and Jenn Lyon as the cheerleading coach. Tonight is a new episode (number eight in season one): Lyon’s character hopes to recruit an AI company to build a data center in town – and provide funding for the cheer team. Should be a night of topical humor, folks. (If you like the show tonight, you can catch the first six episodes of season one at Peacock. Stumble debuted in November.)
