NBC, Fox, ABC, CBS, CW Adding 14 New Shows Sunday Night: The 3 to Watch

ABC, CBS, Fox, The CW and NBC tonight (January 18, 2026) will add 14 new shows to their lineups. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion. (All Times Eastern.)

NFL Football: Rams at Bears (Divisional playoff round)
Where to Watch: NBC
When to Watch: 6:30 p.m.

The 13-5 Los Angeles Rams visit Chicago to play the 12-6 Bears in this divisional round NFC playoff game. The warm-weather seeking LA squad is a four-point favorite. However, I’m not sure if the oddsmakers checked out the forecast because the weather odds say the temperature should be 20 degrees with light snow in coming at kickoff time. Bundle up, LA. By the way, the game will also be simulcast on Peacock. See my article on why you should watch on the streaming service if you are a subscriber rather than on NBC.

60 Minutes (New episode)
When to Watch: 7 p.m.
Where to Watch: CBS

The inveterate primetime news show is becoming as interesting for what is going behind the cameras as it is in front. Tonight, we don’t have any info on the show’s segments but it’s a near guarantee that media critics (and anonymous 60 Minutes staffers) will be debating Monday morning over whether they were too kind to the current administration. (60 Minutes is rapidly becoming more reality TV than news TV.)

Mrs. Doubtfire (1993)
Where to Watch: ABC
When to Watch: 8 p.m.

Who’s In It: Robin Williams, Sally Field
If you need a break from football and the news, ABC is reprising this classic comedy starring Robin Williams as a divorced Dad who dons a disguise as a female housekeeper to stay close to his children. Williams rewarded us with a slew of peerless performances, both comedic and dramatic, but no film is a better showcase for all his amazing talents as Mrs. Doubtfire. He goes from funny to poignant to sentimental at the drop of a wig. (Robin Williams and Sally Field in picture above.)
