CBS, Fox, ABC, NBC, CW Adding 14 Shows Tonight: The 3 to Watch

Fox, ABC, CBS, NBC and The CW tonight (January 8, 2026) will add 14 shows and episodes. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion. (All Times Eastern.)

Golden Eve: The Golden Globes Honor Helen Mirren and Sarah Jessica Parker
Where to Watch: CBS
When to Watch: 8 p.m.
Who’s In It: Helen Mirren, Sarah Jessica Parker, Harrison Ford, Carol Burnett
The organization that runs the annual Golden Globes awards (airing this Sunday on CBS) will present Helen Mirren and Sarah Jessica Parker with the 2026 Cecil B. DeMille Award and Carol Burnett Award respectively in a clip-heavy special tribute to the two actresses. The show, which was recorded in front of a live audience in Beverly Hills on January 6, will feature a Conga-line of celebrities including Harrison Ford, Burnett, Ted Danson, Amanda Seyfried, Colman Domingo, Tessa Thompson and Vin Diesel, among many others.

The Hunting Party (Premiere, Season 2)
Where to Watch: NBC
When to Watch: 10 p.m.
Who’s In It: Melissa Roxburgh, Nick Wechsler
How’s this for a premise? The world’s most dangerous serial killers escape from a top-secret prison and a special force is tasked to catch each one before they kill again. How did Netflix miss this one?! The Hunting Party returns tonight with the season two premiere: The crew closes in on the ‘Boogeyman.’ (I know this sounds ridiculous but the show has somehow achieved a mini-cult following. If you’re intrigued, Peacock has the entire first season ready to binge.)

Season 2: Melissa Roxburgh is back on the hunt as Bex – a former profiler tracking down the nation's deadliest k!llers in order to unravel a conspiracy that threatens us all.

Grey’s Anatomy (New Episode)
Where to Watch: ABC
When to Watch: 10 p.m.
Who’s In It: Ellen Pompeo, Chandra Wilson, Anthony Hill, Jason George,
Grey’s Anatomy is now in season 22 and the staff is looking a bit gray themselves. But the longest-running medical drama still packs a punch. Tonight’s new episode features Ben (Jason George) and Winston (Anthony Hill) fighting to save Jo’s (Camilla Luddington) life after complications from a C-section.
