ABC, CBS, CW, Fox & NBC Add 12 New Shows Tonight – Here Are the 3 to Watch

CBS, The CW, Fox, NBC and ABC tonight (December 16, 2025) will add 12 new shows to their lineups. Here are the three to watch, in my humble opinion:

The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon – NBC
Air Time: 11:35 p.m. ET
Stranger Things Alert! Jimmy Fallon tonight will welcome Finn Wolfhard who plays Mike in the hugely popular Netflix series, Stranger Things. With the show airing three of its series final episodes on Christmas, and the finale on December 31, this is must-see TV for ‘Strangers,’ also known as ‘Thingers.’ Perhaps Finn will shed a secret or two.

WWE NXT – The CW
Air Time: 8 p.m. ET
The oft-forgotten CW network tonight will broadcast the much-anticipated ‘Fatal 4 Way’ match between the NXT’s top four contenders, Dion Lennox, Joe Hendry, Leon Slater, and Myles Borne. The winner will challenge Oba Femi for the championship on January 6. Oh, the humanity!

High Potential – ABC
Air Time: 8 p.m., 9 p.m. ET
If you’re looking for a new show to love, check out High Potential which stars Kaitlin Olson (pictured above) as a genius single Mom (don’t all single Moms have to be geniuses?) who uses her exceptional brain power to help the local police solve crimes. Olson (It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia) is very good in lead and ABC tonight will air the first two episodes of season two. If you like it, you can catch up with season one and the first seven episodes of season two on Hulu. ABC will debut S2, episode eight on January 6, 2025.
