The TV Answer Man – Buy Me a Coffee!
Black Friday is just two days away and it looks like we’ve seen all the streaming deals that we’re going to see. So, let’s take a look at the six best ones that are now available until Monday.
NFL Sunday Ticket: $48
YouTube has lowered the price of the NFL Sunday Ticket to $48 for new users with seven weeks left in the season. The price for returning subscribers is now $62. Those prices are good whether you order the Ticket with a YouTube TV bundle or separately via YouTube Primetime Channels (no YouTube TV sub required.) Sling TV For Just One Dollar!
Disney has sued Sling TV for allegedly including its ESPN in the streamer’s short-term passes which include $4.99 for one day of viewing. However, a federal court judge just rejected Disney’s request for an immediate injunction to halt the Sling feature. To celebrate the victory – and perhaps taunt Disney a bit – Sling is now offering its one-day pass for just $1 until November 30. The short-term passes are good for Sling’s Orange plan (but not Blue) which includes the ESPN channels, Disney Channel, CNN and roughly 30 others. To learn more, click here.
Apple TV For $5.99 a Month For 6 Months
Apple TV’s $12.99 monthly subscription has been slashed to $5.99 a month for the first six months. This is great timing for fans of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. Apple TV is now playing the great new sci-fi series, Pluribus, created by BB and BCS’ Vince Gilligan. See the Apple TV offer at the Apple web site and Amazon.
Peacock For $49 For One Year With Walmart Plus
Walmart is now offering its Amazon Prime-like Walmart Plus service for 50 percent off, bringing the annual price from $98 to $49. The annual plan includes free delivery, early access to Black Friday items, free delivery of pharmaceutical prescriptions, and a one year subscription to either Paramount Essential (with ads) or Peacock Premium (with ads.) The Paramount Essential plan normally costs $7.99 a month or $59.99 a year. (Prices rising to $8.99 a month and $89.99 a year in January.) So the Walmart Plus 50 percent off one year sale would save you some money on Paramount Plus. However, the Peacock Premium plan is $10.99 a month or $109.99 a year. So you could save roughly $60 by getting Walmart Plus now instead of subscribing directly to Peacock Premium for a year. To learn more about the Walmart Plus discount offer, click here.
HBO Max For $2.99 a Month For 12 Months
You can now get the streamer’s ads-included plan for $2.99 a month for 12 months. (The regular price: $10.99.) The discount is now available at the HBO Max web site.
Hulu/Disney Plus Bundle: $4.99 a Month
And you can now get the ads-included Hulu/Disney Plus bundle for $4.99 a month for 12 months. (The regular price: $12.99 a month.) To learn more, click here.
