Between now and Friday, November 28, better known as Black Friday, The TV Answer Man will post the latest news updates on deals offered by top retailers. As has become the tradition, many stores are offering early Black Friday sales so you definitely want to come back here every day for the latest discounts. Now, let’s go to the updates!
Amazon’s Black Friday Sale Continues!
We’re in day four of the annual Amazon Black Friday sale. Here is a link for televisions. Here is one for Fire TV streaming devices and TVs. And here’s one for Roku devices which have been deeply discounted for the holiday sale.

NBA League Pass Free Preview & Discounts!
The NBA League Pass today is holding a free preview of the package of out-of-market games with eight games on tap starting with a 1 p.m. ET matchup between Miami and Philadelphia. See this article for more details. In addition, Amazon’s Prime Video is selling the annual League Pass sub for $89.99, which is $20 off the regular price. A $20 Prime Video credit comes with the deal. Go to Amazon Prime Video for more details.
Where Are the Streaming Discounts?
Amazon and Roku (among others) are now offering big discounts on a number of niche streaming services. However, the big players have yet to jump in despite Black Friday being just five days away. But don’t despair, bargain shoppers. Amazon and Roku have advertised that they will offer 12 months of HBO Max for $2.99 a month starting tomorrow. (The regular price is $10.99 a month.) A Hulu/Disney Plus bundle of $4.99 a month is also expected to be added on Monday. Paramount Plus will be reduced to $2.99 a month for two months starting on Tuesday. And with Apple TV already available for half price ($5.99 a month), things are starting to shape up. We haven’t heard anything about Peacock yet but I would expect news about that tomorrow or Tuesday.
That’s it for now. I will try to get another Black Friday update out tomorrow after the streaming discounts go live.
