Fox to Air USC-Northwestern Game In 4K On Friday; Latest Odds, Top Players

Fox on Friday (November 7, 2025) will air the Northwestern at USC college football game in upscaled 4K. The game, which will kickoff at 9 p.m. ET, will be simulcast in high-definition on Fox network affiliates.

How Can You Watch Fox’s 4K Games?
Fox’s 4K games can be seen in the format on the Fox Sports or Fox One apps by logging in with your TV Everywhere user name and password from your pay TV provider. (You can also watch the game with a separate subscription to Fox One which costs $19.99 a month.)

The pay TV services that normally offer Fox games in 4K on special 4K channels are  DIRECTV, Dish, Sling TV, Comcast, Verizon, Optimum, YouTube TV, Spectrum TV (Xumo boxes only) and FuboTV. What Are Fox’s Upscaled 4K Broadcasts?
Fox’s 4K live sports broadcasts are upscaled from 1080p HDR (High Dynamic Range). Upscaling is the process when one video format is converted to another. Fox takes the 1080p HDR signal and converts it to a 4K format. Upscaling 4K is not considered as good as native 4K, but the inclusion of HDR can offer heightened colors and vividness. ESPN also upscaled its 4K broadcasts from a 1080p HD signal.

Who’s Expected to Win the Northwestern vs. USC Game?
USC (6-2), ranked 20th in the nation, is a 14.5-point favorite to defeat unranked Northwestern, which is 5-3. ESPN’s Matchup Predictor gives USC a 90.8 percent chance of winning.

Who Are the Top Players In the Game?
USC is led by junior QB Jayden Maiava who’s thrown for 2,315 yards and 15 touchdowns this season. Northwestern is led by senior QB Preston Stone who’s completed 58.3 percent of his passes and 10 touchdowns.
